Synopsis

Cyril proposes a plan to punish extortioners in Nasran while also trying to target the corrupt aristocrats. The Empress decides to investigate the situation personally, leading to a discussion about her perception of Cyril and her apparent trust in him. The conversation shifts to the kingdom of Nasran, their unusual bartering system and the food loan issues with excessively high interest rates, explaining why people fall into the debt trap that these extortioners use.
