Synopsis

The chapter opens with criminals being apprehended, claiming they were manipulated by a young man with distinctive clothing. Simultaneously, the Empress is handling a case involving a retired knight, showcasing her resolve to make an example of offenders. A captured arrogant figure tries to bribe and belittle the knights, even challenging a perceived weak highest-ranking official, only to be shocked when the Empress herself appears and sentences him to hard labor in Salus province, known for its harsh conditions.
