Synopsis

The chapter opens with Alfeas experiencing memory loss, discovering he's become an old, wrinkled professor at Alfeas Magic Academy, much to his shock. He's told he was attacked by dark magic. Formerly a celebrated genius, now he's grumpy and demands his student, who seems to know him well, return his memories, threatening to expel the student if he can't perform a specific magic. The student, in turn, doubts Alfeas's current personality and questions if restoring his memory will return him to his old self, and if he can be trusted.
