Synopsis

The chapter opens with a display of a powerful antagonist's abilities that defy natural laws, causing fear and confusion amongst the characters. This forces them to re-evaluate their strategy. A Bishop of the Carsis Order, Ethella, enters the scene and proposes a plan to separate a smaller group from the mind-controlled masses and to find the Headmaster. The protagonists split up to deal with the situation, with one staying to engage the enemy and others assigned to find the Headmaster with the help of the Bishop.
