Synopsis

The chapter opens with news of a dark mage escaping from custody in the capital, putting the city under martial law. A professor is urgently leaving due to this development, seemingly connected to the escape. Meanwhile, flashbacks reveal a mysterious old man bestowing power on disciples 40 years prior. The narrative shifts to a present-day academic conference where a professor from Alfeas Magic Academy meets a court pianist, who turns out to be the guardian of a student from his academy.
