Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist, seemingly a prince, gathering saltpeter for gunpowder, showcasing his dedication to leadership. A crisis arises as a curse, targeting the Queen Consort, is uncovered within the palace. The protagonist, after a series of revelations about the curse's nature and methods, decides to use fingerprints found on the cursed object to find the culprit from the attendants and visitors of the palace. He believes this method will reveal the traitor quickly.
