Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist and his team developing new weapons, converting sajeon barrels into usable guns and spears. They realize a shortage of gunpowder and, more specifically, the difficulty in obtaining saltpeter. A solution is found with the identification of the white, glistening dirt as saltpeter. The protagonist is called to visit the Queen who offers a large sum of money, finally the protagonist finds large quantities of saltpeter around the palace, revealing his focus and drive in all environments.
