Synopsis

The chapter begins with a humorous scene of the Prince vaccinating his people against smallpox, which is then twisted into rumors of him stabbing his servants with needles. The rumor mill exaggerates the vaccination process into an act of violence, and adds accusations of public humiliation of his wife. The Office of Inspectors, hearing these exaggerated tales, launches an investigation into Prince Jinseong while the king seems aware of the lack of evidence.
