Synopsis

The chapter delves into the intricate history of the Ming Cult, exposing the Heavenly Palace's scheme to control it and their involvement in the failed Great Heavenly Festival. Yelu Jin learns of a powerful artifact, the Sacred Fire Hourglass, that the Heavenly Palace Master uses to cheat death and is tasked to destroy it. Yelu Jin also receives a cryptic prophecy about his future power and is told to avoid returning until he reaches a certain level of strength. He is also told to go and prepare himself and warn the hall masters of the impending doom, then return to hear more of the story.
