Synopsis

The protagonist is being set up to duel Yelu Chun under the guise of a festival, with the true aim of undermining his power and reputation. It is revealed that the festival is orchestrated by Jaegal Tong who had previously betrayed the Ming Cult and that the Heavenly Palace is involved. Meanwhile, the protagonist's allies are trying to expose the plot and warn him, while also facing their own challenges which include the disappearance of their squad leader, the azure fire unit, and also a runaway bride/sister from their group. The chapter ends with the protagonist accepting the role of Black Sun, while some individuals are actively working to undermine the plan.
