Synopsis

This chapter introduces the concept of 'formless moves' and a new martial art called 'Hour of Mortality' which is described as an assassination technique from the past designed to defeat even powerful opponents. Meanwhile, other factions are making power moves, planning to attack the Slaughter Palace and reassert their control over the world. The protagonist encounters the 'Demonic Saint' from the Ming Cult, a seemingly kind and helpful elder who provides information on martial arts and traditional medicine, contradicting his demonic label. The chapter ends with the protagonist pondering if he should recruit the Demonic Saint and also hints at a looming conflict with a character named Ul Taesik.
