Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist being confronted about a past promise of engagement which he doesn't recall making. He then delves deeper into the Heavenly Palace, a secretive and powerful organization, and witnesses their sinister methods. He learns the palace seeks to resurrect a god through bloodshed and aims for the immortality of humanity itself, a goal he finds disturbing. Despite tensions, he is given a Heavenly Dragon plaque and assigned as an emissary, further entwining him with the Heavenly Palace's plans.
