Synopsis

The chapter opens with the kingdom in chaos as the walls are collapsing, and the king's advisors suggest threatening the execution of Vivian's followers. King Igulius, asserting his authority, announces he will execute all remaining slaves unless Duke Aaron's forces leave. This declaration causes panic, with some wanting to save Duke Aaron to avoid war, while others desperately try to defend against an incoming attack and find him.
