Synopsis

The chapter opens with King Igulius making a desperate threat regarding the slaves as citizens revolt against the search for the missing Duke Aaron, fueled by rumors of slave liberation. The Empire decides to use Aaron's actions to their own advantage, planning to profit from his expansion. Meanwhile, Aaron struggles to balance his plan with emotional aspects, and is dealing with the emotional manipulation needed for the plan to succeed, as he is confronted by his crying sister.
