Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist at a bustling betting casino where a major battle is being wagered on. She makes a huge bet on one of the fighters using a large sum, revealed to be a check from the Moria Trade Group, after which we see the protagonist's companion explaining the plan, which involved borrowing against a land deed. The chapter ends with someone revealing that the land doesn't have a mine which results in a big problem for them.
