Synopsis

Following an undead attack, Aaron takes in displaced elves as citizens of Bran, promising them safety and resources. He faces a precarious situation when two Counts declare a territorial war on him, seemingly stacking the odds against him. Despite the clear disadvantage, the Emperor approves the war, recognizing Aaron's right to assert his claim. Inside the Imperial capital, it is revealed that the Emperor's motives are not simply about the law but instead that the Emperor is actively looking for a powerful lord to support him.
