Synopsis

Miden discovers he can use abilities from eaten organisms after consuming a Manticore, though some of the knowledge is lost. He's summoned by a higher up to discuss an adventurer revolt, and is tasked with using his new transformation ability, and to delay it to weaken nobles and common folk alike, for political gain. The chapter also shows Miden losing his family, causing him to use his transformation ability to become stronger, and to be placed on a team with a lizardman adventurer. Meanwhile, the adventurers organize an uprising against the Kingdom, spurred by funding cuts.
