Synopsis

The protagonist finds himself on Earth, which has drastically changed and now smells like the dragon who killed his mother. Meanwhile, a character named General Joakin is pressured to disappear, presumably to cover up the mess of recent battles, while expressing conflicted feelings towards an unknown departure. The protagonist expresses a need for information and seeks out humans to query about what happened to the Earth. The chapter ends with an indication of a conflict involving a dragon.
