Synopsis

The chapter opens with a flashback to the protagonist's training as a Holy Knight, where they were reprimanded for their inability to control their strength, contrasting with their teacher's advice to freely use their power. They encounter an adventurer whose son they killed, leading to a conflict where the protagonist demonstrates a lack of remorse. The protagonist learns the shocking truth that Holy Knights are test subjects created through Saintess-related experiments. They then prepare to leave, acquiring a new identity as a mercenary.
