Synopsis

The chapter begins by reflecting on the hero's loss of his core values, leading to the loss of his hero status and the power of his holy sword. It then shifts to the scheming prince and his allies, who plot to eliminate both the hero and the saintess, the latter being a powerful healer, due to their perceived threat. The goddess is introduced as a system rather than a deity with emotions, clarifying her role in the world and revealing the origin of the monsters and why humans are brought to this world, which is that they are interlinked worlds, it then ends with the main character asking the goddess to return home.
