Synopsis

The chapter opens with the emergence of a powerful demonic energy, signaling the arrival of a demon calamity. Brother Golden Cicada is revealed to be attempting to break the seal on the demon, aiming to release it and steal the Buddha's robes which suppress it. Gu Chang arrives and confronts him, revealing his betrayal and attempting to stop the release. Ultimately, Gu Chang is forced to retreat as the demon's power is overwhelming, leaving the unleashed demon to cause havoc and seemingly blaming Golden Cicada for the unfolding events.
