Synopsis

The chapter begins with the arrival of Gu Changge, Saintess Chuchu, and Golden Cicada at the Xuankong Temple, where they are greeted and offered accommodations. During discussions, rumors of Buddha Mountain's past and its powerful purification scriptures are recounted, which creates tension. Gu Changge is revealed to have an aura of danger and is even noticed by one of the monks using a divine art, which he immediately withdraws from. Later, hidden intentions are revealed, and some characters have very uneasy feelings towards Golden Cicada. It is revealed that Gu Changge desires everything associated with Buddha Mountain, specifically the monk robes.
