Synopsis

The chapter opens with the antagonist boasting about his control of a realm, revealing a trap he's set for Jiang Yang. Meanwhile, another character warns a third against pursuing the Humanity's Ancestor. The antagonist then has a philosophical conversation with another character, defending his actions as necessary for survival. He ends the conversation with the promise that she will eventually be free, despite the ominous circumstances.
