Synopsis

Ghost, negotiating a contract with Jack for the Fire Heart, strategically agrees to terms while planning to exploit loopholes based on his understanding of 'indirect' actions. Meanwhile, Ghost also conspires with Elly to secretly obtain the Fire Heart, having already used curses and mental magic on the team they left behind. They decide to deceive Jack despite the contract, and are later alerted to a potential infiltrator, disguised with Muslim attire, which makes them increasingly wary of Jack's intentions and methods. The chapter ends with the introduction of a 'familiar' contract, opening new possibilities for manipulation.
