Synopsis

After leaving a dungeon, the protagonist is attacked by an archer and melee fighter who seem uncoordinated and not intent on killing him. He quickly realizes they're being forced into action and uses this to his advantage, taking one of them hostage. A third person, seemingly their employer, appears and demands the Fire Heart, an item the protagonist possesses. A tense negotiation ensues, where the protagonist manages to secure a deal involving a large sum of money and powerful items in exchange for the Fire Heart, revealing his own strategic mind and strong-willed nature.
