Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist using amplified scents to draw undead towards gasts, then reflects on the hellish scene around them. It's revealed they wield a legendary scythe that freezes enemies upon defeat, a weapon formerly used by a mysterious Winter Duke. The protagonist then confronts a group of hostile, formerly human enemies controlled by "Yogouleme," realizing reasoning with them is impossible and facing a time-limited quest against insurmountable odds, relying on their regeneration perk to survive.
