Synopsis

The chapter begins with a discussion about a highly skilled individual, "Faschio the Entertainer," whose past is a complete mystery despite his exceptional abilities. Simultaneously, a group of academy students, including the main character, begin a multi-day camping trip which includes a planned barbecue, hunting competition, and a final group activity, with the main character aware that he may be targeted during these activities, especially during the final one. The students bicker about luggage, and then later the main character refuses to name his horse, creating a source of humor. The chapter ends with the protagonist cautiously contemplating the threats to his life.
