Alea, a top magic student, is shocked to learn she must share her room, despite previously having a private one. Her new roommate turns out to be a male acquaintance she tutors, causing her great distress and irritation. Alea insists on strict rules and boundaries for the shared space, while a conversation with the Dean reveals that the room reassignment was due to lack of space, not favoritism, and is somewhat of a friendship test for the highly introverted Alea.
Alea is forced to share her room with a roommate despite being the highest achiever, leading to a chaotic situation when her new roommate turns out to be someone she knows and is wary of. It is then revealed that Alea's private room was revoked due to renovations and a need for space.
