Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist seemingly reliving a past encounter where his subordinate, Kang Seo-il, warns him to escape an Arhat formation. He then returns to the present where he's being held captive, mocked for believing his people will rescue him. His captor, a character named Neuman, reveals he's seen various potential futures and none involve the 'King' saving him, leading to the protagonist realizing he's been abandoned. He concludes by vowing to find others despite the difficult path ahead.
