Synopsis

The chapter opens with the mercenary receiving job completion notifications and then encountering a client, returning the victim's belongings and refusing extra payment, instead accepting the job fee to handle distribution. The mercenary then engages a monster and learns the monster was previously human and was transformed by a mysterious cult wearing golden masks. He vows to take action against them and the monster threat, stating it is all to prevent an upcoming doomsday scenario.
