Synopsis

Gangrim is scolded for staying in the demon realm despite being in danger, especially since Dok Gojun escaped. It's revealed that Shin Sooah was relentlessly fighting the shadow that was consuming him. Despite being told Shin Sooah wishes for his demise, Gangrim is determined to get them both out of the demon realm, driven by his need for atonement and feeling that he owes her a debt for her efforts to save him. He believes they must leave together and refuses to accept the alternative even if it puts him in danger.
