Synopsis

The chapter begins with a child's parents dying after rejecting a god, leaving the child with the choice of becoming a god's messenger. The narrative shifts to a confrontation where the protagonist is attacked by someone who reveals they know his actions. The antagonist reveals they are taking on a support role and explains their actions before they are easily defeated by a shadow clone of the protagonist which can steal skills. The protagonist attempts to defeat this powerful shadow by leveling up his stats and using an instinct skill but cannot find a weakness.
