A rare muscle disease, "Wave," caused by a hydra-like parasite called "Steer" controlling people via the nervous system, has led to a national emergency in Korea. Ah Leesu, a lead researcher, is now the host of this parasite. The government has authorized a military operation, led by Commander Kim Seongyoung, to eliminate the host, Ah Leesu, despite reservations from some. The chapter then shifts to a conversation where a character is seeking revenge or information about his father.
The government declares a state of emergency due to a parasitic disease and authorizes the killing of a research team leader, Ah Leesu, who is being controlled by the parasite. A man confronts someone, seemingly a key figure, regarding past events.
