Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist reliving the same day, initially confused. They soon realize they were assassinated and begin to deduce the killer is likely a fairy assassin among their ranks. They attempt to set a trap, but are again killed by the poison needle of the fairy assassin, who appears to be working with the company leader who is also a fairy. Later, they meet the new company commander. Finally, the protagonist starts training, reflecting on the need for more than a single, desperate attack and finding renewed determination after his near-death experiences.
