Synopsis

The chapter opens with a lone character encountering a powerful werebeast, which he defeats with ease. He is then confronted by other explorers who recognize him as a survivor from a slaughtered expedition. They accuse him of killing his own team to steal their loot, unaware of his true strength, until he reveals the ability to see into the future, and is revealed to be extremely powerful and not what he appears to be. He resolves to eliminate them.
