Synopsis

The chapter introduces the concept of Demon Lords and their common law which prevents infighting. A demon lord named Andromalius tries to provoke Dantalian into a fight by insulting his half-breed lover, however, Dantalian sees through the ruse. It's then revealed that the chapter's events occur ten years before the start of the popular game 'Dungeon Attack', with Dantalian revealed as the Demon Lord who will destroy the game's hero's village, kickstarting the hero's journey. Andromalius' motive is possibly to test Dantalian's strength, and further confirms that the rumours surrounding Dantalian and his half-breed are true.
