Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the pirate side of the conflict, with the major pirate factions gathering. The son of Arangs, Toleo, reveals himself as the new Pirate King and presents his crew with an extravagant gift of gold, hinting at his family's vast wealth. Simultaneously, spies from the Pendragon forces, disguised within the pirate gathering, are attempting to collect information about the pirates, and are worried about their infiltration being discovered. The chapter also briefly mentions the Governor of Leus, setting up the ongoing conflict between the pirates and the local authorities.
