Synopsis

The chapter begins with a flashback to how the protagonist's clinic became successful by driving out illegal healers. The protagonist levels up his skills while handling a recent influx of patients, but is suddenly warned about a patient with smallpox. Instead of running, the protagonist sees a new patient from the slums with hemorrhoids, recognizing that this patient might be wealthy and decides to treat him, thus gaining financial compensation for his work and some influential support.
