Synopsis

The chapter begins with the mentor's condition deteriorating, despite a brief recovery, highlighting that his fate is seemingly inescapable. The protagonist then learns pulse-reading from the other disciples, using their shared Qi-essence to understand the mentor's condition. They find the situation is dire, and their resolve is strengthened. The chapter concludes with a time skip to a surprising recovery of the protagonist's father, albeit with altered martial arts abilities.
