Synopsis

The chapter opens with concern over the Sect Leader's declining health due to old age. The Grand Elder then investigates the sect's finances, revealing dire straits with no income and only minimal expenses. He learns the sect has no external disciples and angrily orders a mass recall of all past affiliates, prioritizing wealthier connections. The Elder also plans to leverage the legend of the 'Sword God' to ensure their return while the real sect leader is getting frailer.
