This chapter focuses on the Mount Hua Sect, once a prominent sword sect now considered weak and led by the unremarkable Immortal Taoist Jang Jinmu. It also reveals the current political landscape of the Murim which is in disarray. A character, later revealed to be from Mount Hua, interrogates a junior disciple about the strongest figures and major factions, demonstrating a disconnect from the current world. Towards the end of the chapter another character brings up rumors about a sword god from Mount Hua being alive.
The chapter introduces the seemingly weak Mount Hua Sect and its leader, and then a mysterious figure inquires about the current state of the Murim, including the strongest martial artists.
