Synopsis

Mareda, the host of the Demonic Sword, displays unprecedented autonomy by fleeing from Sir Karnak's magic, leading the group to question her level of awareness. After the search party loses her trail, they regroup and discover her location deeper in the forest. A plan is devised to capture Mareda, involving a net formation, and the mages including Karnak advance, however, Mareda's laughter suggests she has fully succumbed to the demonic influence, indicating the situation is more complex than they anticipated.
