Synopsis

The chapter begins with the revived characters enjoying a hearty meal, reflecting on their past lives, while they are discussing the cost of it all and realizing the world is slightly different. They discuss how they might've changed the world when they time travelled, then there's a flashback showing how the Death King, Karnak, became the powerful necromancer, destroying everything and turning powerful beings into his subordinates. He now plans to travel to the past to reclaim his lost humanity and senses by going back in time and that is where the story leads the heroes to.
