Synopsis

Penelope, after being reminded of her broken promise to visit Eclis and feeling guilty, takes him shopping. She buys him an extravagant amount of wooden training swords and a new set of clothes, all while reflecting on her feelings and interactions with Eclis. The chapter also reveals the underlying reason for Penelope's neglect of Eclis: the incident where she found out he was being bullied but wasn't honest about it.
