Synopsis

The chapter opens with a lord demanding the total destruction of the Namgoong family, expressing frustration at the incomplete task. Meanwhile, two peculiar individuals, posing as a renowned hero and a powerful general, appear and begin 'saving' villagers from a group of bandits, but then proceed to rob the rescued villagers for reward, much to the confusion of the witnesses. This chapter highlights the juxtaposition of power and absurdity, setting the stage for a chaotic narrative.
