Synopsis

Mormon reflects on his fabricated backstory about a childhood friend and that his actual target is the Special Forces Captain's daughter. He journeys with Yan to a deceptively simple tavern that is actually a front for an information network known as the "Beggars Den." Inside, Mormon, encounters Bella, the leader, and intends to find his target. The chapter ends as the target, unexpectedly, reveals her presence after Mormon starts to state her name.
