Synopsis

Prince Z is desperate to save the mercenary leader Urich and searches for a barbarian healer, leading him to Tuniva, a prostitute claiming to be a shaman. After some initial skepticism, Tuniva reveals Urich's illness has drained his 'tenacity', a life force that can be replenished with a special medicine, which she is willing to prepare for a hefty fee. The chapter ends with Tuniva offering to cure him despite his seemingly grim diagnosis.
