Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Marquis arriving at the capital to confront his son, a Palace Knight. Their conversation quickly escalates into an argument about the meaning of honor, with the son expressing his disdain for the family's methods and the dishonor they embody. The Knight reveals that he halted his investigation into the dark guilds, but in doing so, uncovered a handkerchief with the family's emblem and concluded that they are implicated. He then states he sought help from the 'Warrior' instead of the Walpurgis, which infuriates the Marquis.
