Synopsis

This chapter delves deeper into Flora's background, revealing she's an illegitimate child in a family adhering to the discriminatory Lumencis Church, which leads to her being treated poorly. Rudiger, her professor, confronts Katrina Lumos, Flora's half-sister, about her lack of magical skill and her mistreatment of Flora. This confrontation escalates and brings the professor into conflict with the entire Lumos family, despite warnings to not get involved. The chapter ends by showing the Lumos family holding a grudge against Rudiger and his actions.
