Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist encountering a confusing array of caves, eventually selecting one to explore. He faces a strong predator not mentioned in intel, and directs others to stall it while relying on his 'little purple' companion to locate the true path. The caves are revealed to be a decoy and the real entrance is a pool of water, found thanks to 'little purple'. Finally, the protagonist prepares to dive into the pool.
